Adding sub domains...

Hi, im a little confused here. im on a windows pro account, on the clustered.

I wanna make a sub domain xxx.mydomain.com

Whats the difference between the options, "Add Sub Domain" and "Domain Alias"

I take it "Alias" just allows you to map an new domain to your existing root. Or can you specify the root folder.

I used the "Add Sub Domain" option, what happens after that? Where do I find the root of my new sub domain?

Actually, I think I just found it. I relogged into FTP and can see the sub domains folder now.

Thats makes sense.
